Research Capacity Development Group
DECIPHer has developed a comprehensive and flexible capacity development programme that focuses on developing early stage researchers. A key component is an expanded public health research short course programme, which along with exchanges, placements and action learning sets is open to and maximise engagement with policy-makers and practitioners.
The Research Capacity Development Group has been created to develop and implement DECIPHer’s capacity development programme to allow DECIPHer to build research capacity within academia, policy and practice and has produced a Research Capacity Development Strategy and Action Plan. (PDF, 128Kb)
Aim and objectives

- To develop new collaborations with organisations concerned with the health of the public in Wales and SW England through nurturing and expanding existing partnerships and creating new opportunities for exchange, engagement and personal development
